There have been several changes in our protocol recently. Current research indicates that feline heartworm disease can mimic certain respiratory diseases in cats that are different than in the dog and new attention is being paid to this disease
A new product is available to prevent the spread of Lyme disease. I believe it is superior to Frontline and we will be happy to explain it's mode of action and why we are recommending it.
The protocol for vaccinating cats against infectious disease is constantly changing. There is a new emphasis on the calici and rhintracheitis virus. The schedule for vaccination has been modified.

Emergency Care
Office hours are by appointment only. When we are away from the office a message will direct you to our cell phone number for urgent care and emergencies. If we are not available, two 24 hour emergency hospitals cover our patients. We will direct you to Essex County Emergency Care at 978-682-9905 in Andover or the Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital at 781-932-5802 in Woburn.
