Advanced Services

It remains our committment to provide the best care for your pet. This involves continuing education for new technology like Ultrasound and investing in the equipment that we can utilize in a practical way to help our patients.

Specialist Referrals

There are occasions when your pet will require care and expertise that can only be provided by veterinarians with advanced degrees and experience in different disciplines. We have established relationships with Board Certified Veterinary Specialists who we refer to, and then follow up on their recommendations, diagnosis and treatments.

Office Hours

Office hours are by appointment. We arrange our day into different types of working catagories. We have office hours by appointment so we can schedule our surgical and medical cases in such a way as to minimize unneccesary waiting time for our clients and patients.

Monday,Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Mornings: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

Saturdays by Special Appointment

Tuesday and Thursday: 3:00 pm until closing.

Our goal is to serve your veterinary needs to the best of our ability. We are available on an almost daily basis by telephone communication. We work out of two locations. One is the Manchester Veterinary Clinic at 66 Summer Street, Manchester, MA. When we are not in the Clinic, we are frequently in our Home Office, where we can be reached for urgent care.

Emergency Care

Emergencies are seen immediately. The following represent some common examples of emergencies:
  • Traumatic injury (hit by car)
  • Abdominal Swelling (Gastric Torsion)
  • Ureathral Obstruction
  • Bleeding
  • Poison Ingestion

We are frequently available by cell phone when we are not in the office. A message is left at our main telephone alerting our clients to call our cell phone in case of an urgent or emergency matter.

Finally, on weekends and weekday evenings, if we are not available, we have an affilliation with Essex County Emergency Care. Their telephone number is 978-682-9905.

Prescription Drugs, Diets and Dispensed Products

We strongly recommend calling the clinic prior to coming in to pick up items that are dispensed. We want to make your visits for these products as convenient as possible for you and would prefer to have them prepared for you before you arrive. Once you have established a relationship with us, we will leave these items in a designated location after the clinic is closed if that suits your schedule in a more convenient way.
